WTB Chartplotter/Fishfinder for center console on RIB
I'm looking for something I won't want to replace for at least a few years. I like the idea of a large screen so I don't need to wear reading glasses.

About 2 years ago I needed the same thing. As an interim fix I bought Memorymap App for my iPad ($27). And a Dual GPS. For a total investment of $127 I have a 10 inch gps/plotter that is easy to put my waypoints on. I still haven't bought a plotter for the boat. By the way, I keep the iPad in an otterbox for protection. Very easy to use. Also works on iPhone.
