Thats awesome and stinks that they won't recognize the catch. If anyone touches my 455lb tuna I'm shooting them with my gun. Then I can set the record for the deepest murder underwater.

I hate the rule but I don't blame them either. You pull 50-200 lb tuna all day and you don't know when it is a monster. Passing the rod under riggers and lines is hard to do from a fighting chair or when you are beat. I am sure the mate touched it well before they knew what a mega cow it was
