Early spring Tautog open?
Need you input.
I shot togs for 9 years in a row, and never fully comprehend the spring regulations. Regs stated four periods: Apr. 1 – May 31 June 1 – July 31 Aug. 1 – Oct. 14 Oct. 15 – Dec. 31 And it is clear, that June 1 – July 31 season is closed, but what about Dec. 31 - Apr. 1??? I read that as "undetermined" not closed. The question is - can I shot tog in early April or not? Did anyone ever get DEM comment on that matter? |
