Block island
Tried asking in the mid-Atlantic section and got no response. I’m making my first trip to block island in October. I was just wondering if anyone has any Advice for fishing and diving up there. Not asking for numbers or anything but just some basic info. We’re going to be leaving out of Montauk. Thanks for any help.

Re: Block island
South side of island has lots of action. You can not possess or fish for stripe bass outside 3 mile from the island or Long Island and R.I. You are permitted to transit these areas but no stopping. Black Rock area is nice but be careful not to hit the rock that comes up to the surface. Toug, black sea bass, scup, trigger, stripper, fluke, blues and who knows what else will be open. PM with # and I’ll talk.

Forgot name of wreck, east of black rock on south side, def triggers, blackfish, prob blues too>>be careful. you can get tangled in beams. Its a couple hundred yard off shore. You'll find it on wreck search.
