Re: Saturday Dive Report

whent out this sat for a dive with kyle (k.o.) and with david (yellowsno) and his brother. the mornning was a lil rainy and cold the viz was 10 ft and better at other spots.we dove the left side of wetherill's dem boat docks that wall. dove it for like 30 min no fish sighted just a bunch small black seabass they were every ware then we swamm to the rock where kyle scared some tougs david and his brother were diving really good too they all have pretty good BT my BT sucked after 45 min or so waiting for the current to slow down we all move to the other side of the rock the viz 15' at some spots. we was droping and not spotting fish about an hr later i saw a school of bass all huge and stayng far from me i took a hail mery shot at monster bass the shot was over his head by a hir whent back up to get some air when i broke surface i see ann doherty on her boat which i asked to join us all ways an honor diving with ann while she goes get settled to anchor i catch my breath and let it go hehe jk i take a huge breath and dive deeper than i ever have i hide behind a huge rock and wait the bass out as am there waiting the jaws theme pops in my head not cool one bass flys by song gone kill time 45 sec. hit then all the others are passing by 1.10 almost time to go. yes another massive bass come just a lil bit closer thats the one in my range i shoot and missed dammit just over his big head time to go. i go get my shaft my lungs are on fire and my shaft is in side a lost lobster trap wtf i calm down spin the shaft so the flopper is in top and closed i pull it out look to my left and the biggest toug i ever seen is staring at me face to face i named him tougzilla right then and there and i kick so fast and so hard to get back up that i could of probably hit a front flip or two when i got to the top..as i was resting kyle came out with big toug great shot too bro.. after a while david and his brother took off kyle, and i stayed we moved to an other spot were we saw a bluefish blits. kyle shot another toug at the new spot i finnaly got toug just before we left.. great day out always an adventure...
