New Zeagle Contest!!!

We are in the process of designing a new BC, and we are looking for a cool name.

I am looking for some cool, creative, or just plain marketable names for a BC, regulator, whatever....

PM me with your suggestions, and if we use it, or even think it is worth considering for future products, I will send you a prize, or prizes, worth at least $100.

Also, what is your idea of the perfect spearfishing BC?????

Fire away!!!

A good light and holster that mounts to the BC. I have a plastic holster that Princeton Tech distributed about 10 years ago that holds the Princeton Tech 4 C cell light. It is a killer rig when mounted to the BC cumberbun strap. I show mine at my seminars and I could sell the %^&*out of them if I could still get them. They have looked for the mold but they can't find it.

Lots of well placed and versatile D rings for attaching and carrying accessories like stringers. A good, simple, and reliable waist strap instead of velcro or cheesy plastic clips. Something along the lines of a weight belt clip....but better.

Kevin,
Can you bring the "holder" to the SPO weigh in? I would be interested in taking a look at it. If it isn't patented, maybe we can do something with it!

How about a built-in elastic .223 round holder?

If you're going to do a BC aimed at the spearfisher, you could name it "The Predator."

If you sell one to Hector you could name it "Sharkbait"!!

Have one with mesh bags on each side and a scratch and sniff menhaden oil patch - named "The Chumbag".

Seriously, it's hard to have too many D rings on a BC. I think the idea of a .223 round holder is a great idea, along with a holder for the powerhead itself. Both could fit on the right shoulder strap.

You've got a BC called the Ranger. How about the Seal. Not quite as catchy, IMO, but it's an idea.
How about a tongue in cheek name. Build a BC tailored for spearfishermen and name it The FishHugger.
In honor of D4B, perhaps the Vest of Death - VOD for short.

If there was an area to hold shells for your power head, it would be good to use the zipper attachment method for accessories like you guys used on the LTD for different shell sizes.

You could put a small rectangle area on the waist or wherever, that was attached by velcro, zipper or both to accomidate different size shells. You would just have to buy the one for the shell size that you use.

Do you think a piece of 3" elastic sewn onto the shoulder section would hold your various powerheads?? Kind of like the elastic pieces on a shooting vest that hold shotgun shells...That would be a pretty easy thing to add to a BC.

It would be nice to be able to put a powerhead there but it would mostly be used to hold shells. It would be kinda like the ones that hold 12g shells, but no one uses those, you would need to make them smaller for a .223 or 30.06. It would be hard to make a one size fits all kinda deal, thats why I thought the removeable section for a few different sizes would be good

A good powerhead / bullet holder would also be a major plus on a good spearfishing BC. Especially one that has versatile mounting options and is easily removed when not needed.

I have got to nix the PH round elastic. Just like on hunting vests it doesn't keep its elasticity. Go to Cabellas web site an you can get an elastic band that fits on your forarm that hold 10 rifle cartridges for $5.

Instead of an elastic PH holder, go for a shallow zipper pocket that is easily accessible on the strap. Make it a high vis color so you can find it. My current BC has a shallow pocket on the flap of the big pocket. It holds a PH perfectly. The only problem is that it is not that accessible.

Lots of D rings and accessible pockets.

Trim pouches for weights back by the tank.

I really like the VOD for a name
