LCD Backpack
Just got my dive housing from Gopro and am wondering if should switch out the rear door and use the LCD backpack or use it as is without the backpack. I have never had my gopro diving before and willbe using the headstrap mount. anybody have any recommendations?
thanks in advance |

Re: LCD Backpack
Don't waste your money on the LCD backpac. If you invest $$ in any of the premium accessories for the GoPro to be used for diving, get the battery backpac..

Re: LCD Backpack
I agree. You can't use the LCD backpack when using the headstrap anyway. I just figured out how to get just the right tilt downward when using the headstrap so I capture all the action without the backpack...

Re: LCD Backpack
The Lcd is nice for photography and being able to line up your if you are holding it. On the head and you wont be able to see it. Id suggest an extra battery for longer life.

Re: LCD Backpack
My gopro is mounted to my gun. I use the LCD backpack and find it very useful for adjusting the camera angle during my dives.

Re: LCD Backpack
I didnt think i needed or wanted an lcd, till i used one. It needs one of those hoods because its not that bright. While i dont think i would want it on full time and would want to swap it out. It was nice to have.

Re: LCD Backpack
If you use a headstrap make a leash that fits around screw and has a clip on the other end to secure to wetsuit, or regulator hose. Headstraps will fall off your head and you won't know its gone in the heat of the moment. Ask me how I know.
