Spearfishing Clubs Near Orlando??
Hey-- sorry for the general / stupid question---> I just moved to Sebring, FL (South of Orlando)--- Which side of the state is better for Shore Diving Lobster / Spearfishing?
Also-- would love to join a Free-Dive / Spearfishing Group--- any suggestions? No-- I do not have a boat yet, but I have 25 years sailing + boating experience navigating; and 15 years Spearfishing= Hawaiian Sling, PoleSpear and Spearguns-- and happy to generously contribute $$ on any and all invitations... Thanks... Thomas |

Re: Spearfishing Clubs Near Orlando??
Both coasts are good spearing. Providing more info will help you get better responses in return.
Are you a scuba or freediver? Your won’t freedive much on the bottom East of if Orlando as it gets deep pretty quick... you will be shooting the column. The gulf is shallow going out many miles. If you are a freediver you can shoot on the bottom or the column out for miles. If you are experienced in scuba, you can dive much of the gulf bottom all of the way out to the middle grounds. |
