19mm small id
Looking for 19mm small id rubber, to replace my roller gun bands. I can only find regular id. Where can you find this in the U.S.? Thanks in advance.

Re: 19mm small id
You can get these at Diveinn
https://www.tradeinn.com/diveinn/en/...uscador_search Many other brands you can choose from as well. Small ID bands make a huge difference in classic setups ... but not in roller setups. In a classic setup there is a large amount of drag on the bands as they get pushed in water ... with a roller setup the bands have much less drag and are basically just contracting ... so I feel there is not as much drag on the band and most of the drag is on the wishbone and cable itself ... that is what is travelling the most. Small ID bands are good idea though if you don't have a good sealed wishbone and you want to prevent water getting inside the band cavity ... I see that a lot with wishbones made of spectra! |

Re: 19mm small id
I don't know about 19mm... but the Cressi Sub Navy Pure (18mm) works great and has a 2,5mm ID. It is sold in 3m lengths so you can cut to whichever size you need.
Do you have any local dealer who carries Cressi Sub? Mikel |

Re: 19mm small id
Thanks spearq8, I have a Mr. Joints 115 Vau roller gun and I wanted to match the bands back as close as possible, last time I just bought a spare band set from Mr. Joints. That might be the best way. I agree about the small id in the conventional setups, it works really great.
Mikel 24: I live in the Marshall Islands so there's nothing out here but I will check online. Thanks for the info. |
