Crystal Cove to PV 7/29-8/4

Hey All,

Coming in from out of state for a week in Newport and looking to hunt/explore the area...but would prefer not to do it alone. Open to anything and game for everything that might be going on within an hour or so drive. I've heard a lot about PV and would love to check it out if folks are up there as well.

I've been spearfishing for a couple years now, but still consider myself fairly new...not many opportunities to get out in AZ...guess that's why I'm posting here. . Certified to 60ft, but typically only hunt 40ish and above, mostly in Mexico, but a couple times in SoCal.

If you can't go out but have details on where to shore dive, please let me know. PV seems like a great location, but nothing I've read or seen is specific enough to find a trail/cove/point. I get that we all work in obscurity sometimes with our fishing spots, but any help would be appreciated.
