Gannet Float Lines Drag thru Kelp
Thinking of getting a 100’ Gannet float line with 25’ bungee but just wondering how much more their “MFP double braided hollow core” drags pulling it thru kelp compared to a regular PVC float line.
Any input?

Re: Gannet Float Lines Drag thru Kelp
I used to dive in the kelp with one of those float lines quite a bit and never had problems with it tangling or dragging in the kelp unless I had a float on the end. You also might want to look into their snake float, which is like a kelp carrot but more streamlined.

It's good. Have the same setup and it works great.

Re: Gannet Float Lines Drag thru Kelp
I like their "skinny" float line. I have the braided one and for me, it tends to tangle some.
Im going to get the PVC skinny one.
