Handful of tog between the two of us, saw a few bsb.

Not sure where you were able to find those pockets of 20+ viz, maybe deeper spots away from shore a ways?

Went Castle Hill yesterday on high tide. Saw togs, mostly on a small side. Viz 4-8. Water is still pretty warm.

Dived off Cape Cod today for lobster. Visibility was 10-12 feet or so. Saw no togs, though water is still pretty warm.

Why is that? Store parking lots and hiking trail lots are open. Hmm.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

I walked the dog along the water in Narragansett this morning. The water looked OK. Not great, but better than I would have thought given the wind we've been having.

Jumped in in Stonington CT, saw 3 tog but they were deep in holes. Another couple weeks and I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

Not sure about beaches, I heard they opening parks this weekend.
Opened my season past Wednesday and went again on Friday morning (Jamestown).
Spent about 6 hrs in the water total. It was much warmer and nicer on low tide. Visibility is suxx overall, 5-0 ft below 30 ft. Saw dozens of togs, mostly undersized. Shot one (17") yesterday. Saw one 25" striper too! We need about a nice warm and calm week to get a good condition. Cheers!

I didn't have watch on me.

suggest 48 degree current.
Felt like 52 on low tide and 45 on high tide.

I was wearing 5mm pants and 7 mm jacket, open cell obviously.
3mm gloves, 5mm socks.
Hope this helps.
