1400 Carbon rear plus

Hi all, long time no see. I have been busy with work and making new machinery including a new 6 inverted router table for my shop. Now that the workshop is mostly complete (will never be 100%) it is time to make some guns.

Jacobs custom carbon fibre speargun.
Style: Rear plus Euro
Length: 1400mm from back of band slot to sear
Overall: 1700mm from tip to butt
Mechanism: Reverse Euro
Handle: AR-15
Shaft: 1800 x 8 stainless steel with shark fin
Rubbers: 3 x 16mm

Holly crap! What a gun! I don't think I have ever seen such a big one in person here where I fish... Not real need since we don't have big reef fish or any kind of BWH. We do have tuna, but it is off limits for us sport spearos...

Seems like you used a CF sleeve for the skinning, right? Unless you used plain cloth and the seam is in the shaft track...

I think it could be a good idea to add some color to either the handle (so it gets covered with your hand when you hold it) or the loading butt area... so if you ever drop the gun or need to leave it at the bottom... you can spot it easily from the surface. That's what I do in my guns!

But again, the need for this feature is dictated by the intended use of the gun. I know I need it.
