That makes sense about maintaining elevated levels of force. And true, I can see the bottom bands being stretched out quite a bit.

I took a look as Kosta's gun a bit more closely and really like how he integrated the band hook points underneath, along with the deeper band channels. Alemanni's and Kosta's design with the band wrapping top and bottom seem very similar. Not to insinuate anything, but who came out with their top and bottom band wrap design first?

First time I saw it was on an Alemanni, that was in recent years, but there have been guns with bands wrapping on the sides and around the back end of a gun using a pulley. Burying the bands in top deck slots is more recent. You need to do it as the entire idea of a cable gun is to have nothing on the top deck but cable and the spear, which means any bands have to be recessed on top. The roller unstick kicker or helper band tends to make this not practical unless you can find a way to bury it as well.
