California Spearos Lost and Found

LOST: rubber weight belt at outside jetty of king harbor breakwall. About 150' from the end in 15'-25'. Popped of as I came out of a cave I think. 10-8-09. Had about 20# of weight and stainless steel marsailles buckle.

Green Camo Edge fin with small Omer foot pocket was lost at Linda Mar State Beach on the south side by boat docks in July. Also I lost my Riffe Stable snorkel on Oct 3 in PV at the base of the pipe in 3' of water.

Lost an old battered esclapez black fin the other night in north point loma, it was one of an old shot out pair that I used for shore diving. Diving for bugs with one fin is a good workout.

Lost a green omer alien mask and technisub j-tube snorkel south of refugio

Lost Green Olympus Stylus 1030 SW digital camera earlier this year around January 27, 2009 in the evening. It had an orange float strap. It was left on a pole near the showers at La Jolla Shores. It had some diving videos and pictures that were taken just minutes before it was left by accident.

A couple of years ago a buddy of mine lost my Riffe #2 east of the Angels Gate entrance to LA harbor. I lost a Riffe utility float and a clear Omer snorkel with a lime green extention at "the pipe" in PV. I also lost a utility float at Alijos rocks on the south side! Those damn things aren't cheap!!!!!!!!

Found: Spring loaded game bag. Malaga cove 10/18. Washed up from the swell.

LOST: pos disposable underwater camera off of Casa Cove (the beach just South of Shell Beach & The Childrens Pool in La Jolla) it's blue in a little waterproof case. Lost on Fri 10-16 in a rising tide.

LOST: Oceanic knife w/o sheath. 3.5" stainless blade and black rubber handle (about 7" overall length). Lost 10/15/09 in surf at Torrey Pines (straight out from showers). I had it for about two decades!!! That's not to bad of a service life for a knife.

I lost a 60" threaded euro shaft and slip tip at cortes banks, kinda near the bell buoy

It was from a back-up gun I was using and I attached the floatline to the gun and not the shooting line. It was pretty funny to shoot the thing and see it just keep going.

Lost 10-24-09 picasso black team fin in PV, end of Hawthorne, middle trail in the cove to the right at the entry point behind the rock that offers protection (it didn't offer much today!).

FOUND: Beat up titanium knife in sheath & 5lb BB weight at S MB Jetty @ high tide today

FOUND: black and yellow spring loaded game bag @ casa cove in 5' of water about 2 weeks ago (sorry it took me so long to put it up here, it kept slipping my mind... probably because it's so useful toting my gear to and from the car )
