They are human garbage.Evidently they are not good people outside the fishing community either.

lots of people cheat in tournaments, but these guys were just plan stupid with the amount of lead they loaded the fish with. Reminds me of the stupidity that occurred in the last national freedive spearfishing tournament held in Florida in 2021.

Apparently they had won a couple events prior to the one they got caught cheating in so it’s very likely they had done the same thing before but didn’t get caught.

Today greed and stupidity gets you a job as a politician or TV preacher.
The whole idea of a tournament was to get to meet people with the same passion and put your skills to the test.I guess things have changed.I have known several people that fished tournaments that were just weekend warriors to full time well known charter captains and none of them would have even remotely consider doing something like these clowns did.I have heard of a few scumbags stuffing fish with ice and chumbags but it was something that anyone I knew condemned.
