instead of looking for a Evinrude mechanic who dives , buy a Yamaha ;
get rid of the POS E-tec and go diving . I owned 2 , one caught fire right after purchasing it , the warranty replacement basically wouldn't run more than 20 minutes before it went back to the shop again and again, and again. Evinrude never made good on it , and I wasted $7000 . Yamahas run , are easy to fix , and rarely break down . Save yourself a lot of grief. |

Strange all my Etec problems stopped after a repower also.
