The 2015 Saint Pete Open is Open for Registration
The early registration rates are set to end in one month for the 50th Annual St. Pete Open, the world's largest spearfishing tournament. The St. Petersburg Underwater Club (SPUC) announces that the 50th Anniversary St. Pete Open will be limited to a maximum of 300 shooter registrations from individuals who are not members of the SPUC.
This means that you need to register early to get your spot for the 50th anniversary of the World's Largest Spearfishing Tournament! Once 300 shooters enter the tournament, registration is closed. The SPUC is enacting this change primarily to provide a safer, more valuable, and enjoyable experience for everyone at the SPO, as well as make the prize table the biggest and best ever seen at a spearfishing tournament! The 50th SPO weekend is set for August 14 - August 16, 2015 and will be held at the Magnuson Hotel Marina Cove. I'm pretty sure that prize table is already the biggest and best at any spearfishing tournament. Me and my crew are registered.
