Any advice on chartering a Panga out of Ensenada?

Hi Spearos,

I am heading down to mex for my bachelor party and have always wanted to charter a boat out of ensenada. Does anyone have any solid advice on how to do this.

Do i just go to the marina in my wetsuit and wave a hundred dollar bill around and scream pescado? Jk.

Hoping to dive friday april 10th.. there will be 3 of us all pretty experienced, so if you know anything about ensenada and or want to join us please let me know!

I'm sure one of you fish slayers has done this before.. thanks for your help!

Vonny's Fleet
Carretera La Bufadora Km 13
Zona Rural Punta Banda, Punta Banda, B.C., Mexico
+52 1 646 148 0229

They are on Punta Banda, save time and money with less of a run. One of the oldest families running pangas on Punta Banda.

I think they have a Facebook page and or website.

You could book via Jay at Ensenada.com. He lives in Ensenada and Orange County. He keeps a fish count on his site as well. When i chartered down there last summer he gave us a great deal on a 32' Lurhs (sp). Also if you just walk the waterfront the evening before you can make a pretty good deal for the next morning. The dock is in the general area in front of Sergios.

If Louie is open on the 10th go with him. He has a bar/restraunt in town that'll whip up the fish for you after your dive. His wife is an awesome cook. The marina where he berths his boat is secure & has hot showers! Go to the island (supposedly slob YT cruising shallows!) & maybe hit the tip of Banda on the way home. Have fun & congrats. T

What days are you in town? We will be there throughout the month. Send me a PM maybe meet up for food or swing by the marina and say hello.

If you go with Ivan's outfit @ Vonny's go two guys per panga as the day rate is affordable enough to not have too many guys crammed with gear on the pangas. Beto is the man there. Not too bad of a drive south & Pta Banda area is really nice. If you have time after, drop over the hill to the touristy enclave of the Blow Hole for a cold one & churros. Friggin epic. Good luck.
