Lap around Florida... "fishing" for tips and ideas
I know there are a LOT of spearos experienced in Florida. My wife and I are driving a long-lap around the Florida coasts in April... from Jacksonville down the East coast to the Keys, then up across the Everglades and follow the Gulf Coast to Alabama. We are travelling in a Rav4 with 2 dogs, mostly tent camping (cheap!), so very little room for toys... I've already decided I will be shore diving and renting the occasional kayak.
I'm hoping for some General Florida Wisdom and Hot Tips from Spearboard folks... your MUST DO list, things to be aware of, things to avoid, camping / hiking / dog tips... and of course any really great shore dives you are willing to share with a passer-by. My weapon for this trip is a Riffe 110 Euro... great little reef gun I've used in Baja, MX for the last 10 years.
