Corolla, NC 7/9-16

Hey all, I will be in Corolla, NC the 9th through the 16th and was wondering if anyone would be going out at all inshore, wreck, bluewater, whatever. I'm from NJ and dove for a few months in Florida as well, never speared in OBX and I'm eager to go, please reach out as I'd love to get in the water when I'm down!

quite a few places to shoredive here. Do some research online... this summer has been absolutely terrible for vis so far though. It's been blowing SW nonstop

I'm down in Hatteras for the week and might go out for a day if the weather cooperates. It's a bit of a hike for you though. Otherwise, I'll be back in NJ next week

What he said. Vis has been poor inshore. I've only seen one day where it looked good and that was after a strong NE wind died down late in the day. If you do get a good day though you'll have plenty of inshore options.

Seems like everyone's got it figured out, it's blown SSW for three days in a row and the water's gotten colder and dirty with the days since I've been here. Guess I have to be on vacation from not only work but diving as well
