I have seen this story play out with a bunch of people.Most are dead now or in that stage.I dont blame alcohol,whatever drug or casino.That person has to want to stop being self destructive.No law,jail,prison or 12 step program will work till they WANT to stop.

I have known several people that got mixed up in the drug,alcohol and gambling addiction.Three were murdered.One was shot five times in the chest and dumped in a Palm Beach canal,one was stabbed 16 times in his home by his childhood friends and another was run over.Three were disappeared never to be seen again(robbed know dealers once too many times)Two died from AIDs that was drug and sucking dick for drug money related.A few suicides by overdosing on alcohol and pills and a DUI crash that killed the dumbass and a 25 year old kid driving the other way.
Right now I know two young women that work on and off stripping and cams.They are a mess.When they work they make insane money and piss it away and cant remember where it went.If they dont stop they will be working the street in some city for dope.I have seen this play out many times over the years.Pretty girl runs away from an abusive relative or has issues with house rules and ends up stripping for money.Drinking and some drugs blurs the night of swinging their ass on a dirty pole and sticky hands from the VIP room.Pretty soon (about 6 months)that pretty 19 yr old girl looks like she is a rough 30 and has an alcohol,script and street drug addiction that she can only support one way.
Bottom line is if you know you cannot control your urges if you use alcohol,drugs or gambling then DONT DO IT!No shame in admitting a problem and dealing with it.If others give you shit about it then find other people to associate with.

I've been watching this Dr's videos daily for over a week. He seems to be reasonable, conservative and appears (from a layperson perspective) to be objectively reviewing scientific data
