Re: Sydney Freedivers 2012
really awesome vid...is my opinion we should have something like this here in south florida and everywhere else, I know a lot of good spearos, not to mention new ones that love the sport and simply do not have the funds to take freediving or safty classes, and still continue to freedive just because they love the sport and that is when accidents happened,I will love to hear other opinions on this matter if any of you fellow spearos want to comment, I by no means think freediving instructors should not be compensated, and that 500 or 600 dollars or whatever the price my be is a small price to pay when it comes to our lives, but just think about it, be safe out in the blue, thanks. Re: Sydney Freedivers 2012
Thanks. Yeah, the production company name was a bit of a laugh, just so long as it doesn't produce them.
It takes a bit of persistence to push such a group together but once it is rolling and there is enough members, it almost runs itself. Safety has to be looked at constantly but we appointed a safety officer who keeps abreast of that. We work with the freediving course providers, suggesting people do courses, and having a safe environment for their graduates to train. Cheers, Judge
