What are the Regs for Sharks?

I thought I read we weren't allowed to spear sharks (State waters?). So If I am getting harrassed by a Bull and it ends up me or him and I pop him, can I bring him home? It would be a wate of good meat if I couldnt bring him in.

I would assume that you can't keep it, hence limiting the incentive to kill a shark for anything but self preservation.

Also, if you are going to drag a Bull Shark to the surface only minutes after shooting him you are a bigger man than I. AJ's come back to life all the time after being shot, but at least they don't have rows of razor sharp teeth.

Re: What are the Regs for Sharks?

I looked up the rules and it does not say anything about spearing sharks. And the rule says 1 per boat. Anybody have any other rules?

Steve this is directly from the Fl Adm Code book.
