Lost speargun N of Egmont ditch

Had a mishap today about 10 miles W of Egmont, just N of the channel. Long story short, my shooting line was unclipped from my gun to get a gag off the shaft. My gun was was still floating in the water, and I was unaware the line had been detached until I tried to pull my gun back up. If anyone finds a Riffe Euro 120 with a shark poker from Ray Oder mounted on it and a reel with yellow dyneema, I would be extremely grateful if you IM me. The gun has some sentimental value to me plus, I can shoot fish with that gun with my eyes closed.

I know it’s a long shot but I’ve seen miracles happen before.

Thanks all!

Shawn

You are very welcome. No luck though. Did not run across it while we were shallow off Sand Key. Hope some one else finds and returns to you.

Ray Oder.

He was my diving buddy for 6 years until 2005. I miss him a lot.

That’s his boat and his custom speargun I’m holding.

Was out of Johns Pass Wednesday trolling for macks and kings. Kept an eye out. No luck seeing your gun. Did load up on the macks. Maybe somebody in this weekends SPO will find your gun.
