North Coast Ab report

Dove this morning near Fort Ross and a decent size swell was still pounding the area. Vis was a hazy 5 ft at best with lots of debris in the water, likely due to the big swell earlier this week. DFG was watching but never approached me. Have a minus 1.4 tide early evening tomorrow, probably have lots of rock pickers out.

Otherwise, the ocean looked fairly calm-no white caps and partly cloudy.

Pulled a limit of 8 to 8.5, but found a gauge and iron.

Good luck to those diving this weekend.

Re: North Coast Ab report

Well shoot. I seriously thought about running over to Fort Bragg for a quick dive Sunday/Monday, but the swell looked to be too big. Hmm, maybe not...
Thanks for the report!
Ron.
