Best website for water vis and swell info??

Hey y'all...

Do any of you have a good recommendation for a website that forecasts and reports on water condition and visibility. Obviously I know about surfline.com and other weather websites. But I was just curious if there was anything out there specifically for spearfishing/freediving? I want to find something that tells you whether the swell is too big to do a shore dive or not and what the water vis is doing. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

The only really good way to assess vis is to go look. I like swellwatch for swell.

First step. Find a dive buddy and practice apnea tables. Second, Take a FII course and pay attention to safety. Third, get wet and learn for yourself.

Good advice .... I look at SwellWatch religiously. Pay attention to wind, swell interval (period), swell direction as well as swell height.

For beginners I recommend looking for areas to dive that are sheltered from the brunt of the swell. Start small, build confidence before moving into more challenging and exposed water.

Best Vis usually starts about a couple hours before high tide.

Have fun n be safe

Www.17ft.com with www.tempbreak.com I can almost nail conditions every single time using both. Its interpreting them and applying it to your knowledge of specific spots that's the hard part

What can the temperature tell you, in regards to visibility?

On Tembreak, there is a "Choro" option on one of the pull down boxes. Fairly accurate from past experience. But....It can and will change quickly.
