Is it safe spearfishing Santa Barbara/Malibu after 5 straight days of rain?

Hey guys,

I know everyone says not to spear after its been raining. My question is if its been raining for 4 or 5 days straight will all the runoff already have washed out? Will it be safe? Anyone have any advice for me?

Maybe if we get lucky and the winds blow offshore for a couple of days, after the storms come through. There is a years worth of pesticides, dog shit, dead bodies and who knows what dumping into the ocean! If the winds don't co-operate than I'll be sitting out for a while.

Honestly I'm less concerned about the weather on Sunday or Monday, just want to get in the water lol

yeah like malibu john said there's an unlimited amount of crap to run down. It's not like some "cleansing rain". Only thing this much rain will cause is a sewage spillover.
