Giant Lobster Attack, 12lb Flounder, and Freedivers Recovery Vest Test

Went out the Right Side the last couple of days and made it in just as it started to get "sporty" out there.
First day took our time and hit the water around 11:00 and first spot was covered in huge Red Snapper, Gags to 40lbs, and a few lobsters.
Shot some nice Snapper, Flounder, a hogfish, Freediving than put on our Yellowbacks and limited out on Lobster without even moving the boat.
Vis was 25' temp 72degrees. Saw some big Dusky Sharks who wanted to be better friends but for the most part it was pretty relaxed diving.
Lots of Lionfish out there but too many tasty critters to waste time removing them.
Next day got an early start because of the Front coming down and crushed the lobster again!
Was so hot we only put the 3+ lb ones in the bag and limited again no problem. In two days we had 20 lobster over 7 lbs and some really nice ones.
Fish of the trip was a 12+lb Flounder that has been hiding from everyone and waiting for my buddy Chad to drop the hammer on him.
Great couple of days on the water saw some Cobia but most were little guys and need to grow. Besides Lobster Stuffed Flounder is way better eating!
Hope this lays down soon so we can get back on it!
Also had the pleasure of using the FRV (Freediver Recovery Vest) and I believe this is the future of freediving and will save lives in the future. Terry Maas and team have done a great job of putting together a well thought out, comfortable, and simply genius idea that can effectively save lives when things go bad in this dangerous sport.
The newest units are coming out in a few months and I've already ordered mine.
This year I'm going to be guiding divers around the world to put them on their personal best fish as we search for World Record fish around the world. Having the FRV will give me peace of mind while diving and away from home.
Theres a video on mine and Terry Maas Facebook page that shows how it brings you to the surface and rights you safely when you exceed your set depth, time, etc. Read the manual here to check out more of the features. http://oceanicss.com/manuals/Draft%2...r%20Manual.pdf
Hope you got out there before it turned to crap!
