Wow tons of Mackerel right now!

This week we have had an incredible amount of sierra mackerel in the water here in CR. The sashimi rivals that of ahi or albacore. Here's the video.

I don't know how you guys deal with the recoil of three power bands. I use one properly sized 16mm band on my Riffe 2x for deep sea, and sometimes I think it is too much power. When reef fishing I down grade to one 14mm, and it works perfectly .

Yeah I agree 3 bands is a little much, but you can always shoot small fish that are close to you with a big gun.... but you can't always shoot big fish that are far from you with a small gun.

It's like taking a 9mm to a knife fight.

What thickness of shaft? What size of fish?
