Fin Bag for Travel Recommendations

Flying to Hawaii in a few weeks; looking for recommendations on carrying-on 2 sets of carbon meter fins.

Re: Fin Bag for Travel Recommendations

When we went to Florida, I just strapped them to my backpack carry on. No problem.

Here's some lower cost options...

For one pair of fins,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1

For two pair of fins,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Re: Fin Bag for Travel Recommendations

When I travel, I find my freediving fins do not fit in any of my luggage or cases. I bought and used a golf bag travel case. It protects the fins and all other items I packed in the case.
Good luck with your search.

A sport tube is worth the money. You can jam all your dive gear in there including fins and they roll.

Re: Fin Bag for Travel Recommendations

If you're not an intensive traveler, you can get a snowboard bag for cheap. It will take fins, spearguns and all your gear. It won't last more than 10 flights though...

As for the fins, I normally tape them together and use the wetsuit to "wrap" them. Never had a problem. I use carbons.

I cut 2" off my fins so they fit in my bag. They still work fine.
