Re: First trip
I think I have been to the shrimp boat, it has a long mast looking thing laying across the top of the wreck
And yes it had a few big Jewfish on it I think I saw a big black high tail it out of there when I went down The Viz was horrible and I lost track of it. But yea I would be really interested in meeting up some time and talk about getting out to do some spearing with you. I frequent your area quite often. I'm always doing work out in st James and bokeelia Do you still live over there |

WhT do you guys think the chances of me shore diving beach #7 off captiva on the incoming tide?
Waste of time or might have 6-10' vis if I'm lucky?

Re: First trip
I'll be in Ft. Myers this Friday - Tuesday and I was wondering the same thing with other beaches, but after a little research I don't think vis will be as much of an issue compared to finding structure with life. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I'm gonna dive a bit anyway and check it out. Let me know when you're looking to head out.

Re: First trip
Yes, I went out last week and seen some stud gags in 50'
And they aren't skittish either. They know they are out of season. |
