All About Pole Spears & Slings What is it about that traditional method of the early hunter/gatherers under the water? These devices are indeed interesting and effective. |

Sure, I have a man cave I'm building, when I have time away from the oilfield I see 8 months out of the year. I wasn't coming off harsh, the idea is good but I just don't see it working.... Maybe if the band side that's attached to the shaft could slide to the roller, maybe you could get more distance off a shot. Don't get me wrong I'm sure it can kill something but I think our minds of killing fish are different.... I'm looking for kill shots at distance. This seems like an idea for a hole or reef spear.

Epic workman ship Matt , Welldone
I have one(rollerpoller) too, I love it but can't say much more it is too hard to compare to other spears. My Crist Aaron sent me is terrific with its weight - I must post some photos sometime

Re: Rollie-Pollie: Roller pole spear
Thank you gentlemen, all: you just saved me a lot of work and wasting the two skate-ski XC ski poles that my niece sent me. Pura Vida! Simple it is then.
