Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
I used to use CureCare from Sally's beauty supply. Great stuff. Got it by the gallon. Cheap, unscented. They no longer make it. Any suggestions for a similar replacement?

Mane 'N Tail Conditioner works well and it is unscented or lightly scented. Used to use CureCare from Sally's as well. Loved that stuff. Any cheap conditioner will work if you can stand the heavily perfumed smell.

Re: Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
I'm down to 2 gallons of Cure Care, I'll sell a gallon of this rare conditioner for $100

Re: Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
I used to clean out the shelf at Sally’s so I would go years without needed more. Was bummed when I went in the other day and they said it wasn’t being made anymore. They gave me a name of something similar I could buy on amazon but it wound up being 10 times as expensive. I’ll look for the Mane n tail.

Re: Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
Thanks for the info Rosstnfound. At first I was ok with any cheap hair conditioner, but slowly it smells horrible to me.
After some search, I found multiple types of mane N tail conditioner? Do all of these works and safe for our neoprene or only certain kind? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mane-n-Ta...ottle/10293244 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mane-n-Ta...fl-oz/10293237 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mane-N-Ta...12-Oz/42865514 Thanks |

Re: Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
Not even joking around I use 4oz of equate personal lube mixed with about a quart of water...seems to be about the same as mako's wet suit lube.

Re: Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
Just use a little McNett's wetsuit shampoo diluted with water. Have used this solution effectively for years without ever having rashes or the sickening smells of conditioners.

Baby shampoo or hair conditioner. Scented is fine by me. Covers up the pee smell a little

Re: Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
Very diluted J&J shampoo for your mask works great and does not smell. I like to keep my mask in a small bucket of diluted J&J shampoo when boat diving. Always a crystal clear mask that does not fog up. If you are in and out of a boat a lot, this is very handy. Use fresh water and just a squirt is all it takes.

Re: Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
I've been using this stuff since cure care went away...
https://m.wholefoodsmarket.com/produ...nd-conditioner Not too pricey, but definitely not as inexpensive as cure care was.

Re: Wetsuit lube (CureCare discontinued)
Check out Unicure. It's on Amazon and you can get it by the gallon. It's also scent free which I am a fan of. I don't know how much curecare was but this stuff is $60/gallon....
