Labor Day weekend diving
Did some diving Sun and Mon. Sunday out of Clearwater (weatherman got it wrong, so bumpy a bit) Monday out of St Pete on a new ride for me for the first time. My good friend Cpt Ty set it up and was on the boat and off we went. Calm on Monday.
Neither day was particularly fishy. Viz was 20-30 each day in 80-100. Temp 87. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XWorf0DHLR8 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XWorf0DHLR8 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Jwg6zizBbjw http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Jwg6zizBbjw |

You've had a great end of summer for getting out on some dive trips. Nice videos.

Re: Labor Day weekend diving
Loved your "out of the box" thinking by stringing the Gag (vs. yanking on the shaft and risking a pull out) in order to get a secure enough grip to wiggle the fish out of that narrow crack.

Re: Labor Day weekend diving
I watched that with interest as well. I have had grouper that were badly stuck in a hole and still alive, rather than trying to fight them and pull them out, I have used a knife (by touch and without seeing) to brain them first while still way back in the hole.
