Great boat. What are you using for power?
I have the same one with an f115 and couldn't ask for much more power. I'm looking into a permatrim or trim tabs, the bow is really light and hard to get down when it's choppy

Same motor as you are
I had the best hydrofoil that was made by a guy in FL, but I tried to contact him and his number is no longer in service. Let me know how yours works out, I'm sure I'll put on one after I get it in the water.

Just dropped it at the marina to get the motor and steering done.

Overpowered Pangas tend to squat. The Mexican fishermen usually run a single 35 hp motor, so anything heavier will make it hard to keep the bow down. Trim tabs may help your situation, but you may want to load her a little forward to compensate for motor weight.

Be careful when trailering. Stuff blows out of them very easily because the deck is so open. I bungee corded the hatches down but I've still almost lost those a couple times.

The only weird part of the hull is the rubber drainplug type you have to use. Let me know what diameter you find works. I can't remember what diameter it takes and I'd like to buy another one

Re: Imemsa Panga 26 build

LOL...I noticed the rubber drain plug and was a bit baffled by it. Would prefer the screw in type but it is what it is. I'll measure it when I get a chance. Do you want me to get you some pricing on the drain plugs?

I don't plan to put much in the boat when trailering but thanks for the advice!

What is your recommendation for a prop?
Thanks

Re: Imemsa Panga 26 build

I've been using a large four blade. Really helps swing the bow around in the wind and with docking. The mpg numbers improved alot compared to my previous 3 blade aluminum

Re: Imemsa Panga 26 build

Top is 39mph at 5300rpm

Cruise at 26mph which is the hulls most comfortable speed and get 6.5 or 7.2mpg depending on load

Post some pics!! For some reason I can't get pics to post to this site (never happened before, have to figure out what's going on).
Boat is done and took it out for test run Friday.

Top speed is 40mph, easy cruise at 30 with 6+ mpg!!! Had pretty steady winds but boat was dry no matter which way I put her. Really love it!

Re: Imemsa Panga 26 build

Here's my console layout

With the steering wheel offset to the left, a passenger can sit without me hitting their knee turning the wheel or bumping their shoulder while shifting gear. Also allowed for a nice storage basket on the right and radio. That's also a 12 inch garmin unit with the offset shifter, it doesn't touch the screen while at full throttle
