DRAFT RULES for 2018 Big Bang Open - Please review and comment
I have attached the DRAFT RULES for 2018 Big Bang Open from me, Weighmaster Randy Docks and MC Billy Black.
I also snipped below just the fish list with some of the changes highlighted in yellow. The venue is the same as last year. We had to shuffle some fish around on the list to accommodate ever changing regulations. Please review and comment for the next week before we finalize the rules and open registration. Thanks, Tony |

Everyone please note that, as always Hogfish are FORK length, not overall. The 16" is the Atlantic regulation, and applies to all harvested Hogs regardless of where the fish was shot so as to maintain fairness to all competitors. Additionally, a second Hog cannot be weighed in under the wild card category as these numbers reflect a 1-day take. Thx...

Hogfish are 17" in GA SC and NC.
Only Wild Card barracuda have a slot limit? Not that I ever see barracuda under 36 inches.

Tony, others have pointed this out as well and we will change the rule to apply to either Wild Card or Cobia Jack categories. Thanks for your input. Tony

Hey boon if you read through the couple page pdf it answers your questions, but the short answers are you can hunt anywhere in driving distance from the weigh in ( no bahamas) and the weigh in is in north palm beach on Sunday from 10 am to noon.

Hey Seadaze, 1 day daily limits apply even though we are spearing 2 days. Thus only 1 hog, one gag or black, and 1 amberjack
