All About Pole Spears & Slings What is it about that traditional method of the early hunter/gatherers under the water? These devices are indeed interesting and effective.

Keltvic Titanium Polespear from Russia

I just took delivery of a titanium three section polespear/handspear gun from Keltvic in Russia. It is very well made and surprisingly light, although a heavy polespear has more punch if you are shooting something big. The company also makes a "Classic" polespear as seen below which is also constructed of titanium at around 300 bucks. Length is 7.5 feet https://keltvic.ecwid.com/%E2%80%8Bk...-ft-p103668505

Here is one of their tridents with floppers on each tip.

Here is a selection of heat treated tips and shaft extensions.

Did you get all the spear tips shown in the picture?
Would love to see a close up of the replaceable tip if possible.
Considering getting one of these.

No, I have lots of tips, but I thought about buying the selection in the last photo. On a polespear I use multi-prong cluster heads or "prangers".

I didn’t find a multiprong on their website since I was looking for it. Is the one shown made by keltvic?

You can see a multi-prong tip here.

The prangers I showed are Australian “high speed" versions, although “high” is a relative term. I think I saw some shorter prong version on the Keltvic site as part of another polespear package.
