Today off Tav key it was about 1ft seas. 40ft viz, partly cloudy...been pretty shitty weather here the last couple of weeks, but there is absolutely no wind. Maybe 5mph today. Water temp was 84.

10-19-12 report:

Location: Off Tavernier Key
Depth: 20-30

Winds: dead
Waves: less than 1ft
Water temp: 81 F˚

Very very calm day. No winds, no bad weather, no high seas. Got 10 hogs and a lion fish.

P.S. I have no idea why this picture keeps showing up upside down.

Re: Current Vis Islamorada 73MM - Key Largo 106MM

Was out yesterday in 30-60 feet doing some scuba training. Bottom 10 feet had an inversion layer that was 3 degrees colder and the vis was 15-20 feet...about that it was 50-60 feet of vis, maybe more, and very blue.

Re: Current Vis Islamorada 73MM - Key Largo 106MM

Got out Saturday for my last grouper hunt of the season. My buddy Bret shot a nice 23" red and I ended up with no grouper but did manage to get my biggest hog ever.
