Aeris f10 dive watch screen problem

Bought this watch last year in used condition. Never had a problem with it till couple of weeks ago. The problem is parts of the some of the digits and letters are missing when looking directly to the watch. It looks better if you look at it from a 45 degree angle. Thought the battery was low so ordered a new battery kit and replaced it. Still have the same problem. Does anybody know what could be the problem? or where to take it to get it checked/repaired?

Aeris' website isn't very helpful as far as where to go for service... I would email them info2@diveaeris.com

Re: Aeris f10 dive watch screen problem

I have PM'd the OP, but thought I would post this for the benefit of others. When you have issues like this, it is best to go through an authorized dealer as they have some pull and weight with the service department at Aeris.

Of course, it will vary from dealer to dealer on how much they are willing to bend over backwards for you when you buy equipment second hand and not from them, but it is still your best option as far as getting the issue dealt with.

Aeris has good warranties, and has VERY FAIR PRICING even when the unit is out of warranty. They usually have a program where they can replace your faulty unit with a factory full refurb unit for a fraction of what it costs to buy a new unit, even if you have discount hookups.

Hope this helps!

Re: Aeris f10 dive watch screen problem

I had a high current draw problem on mine. I sent it back to LeisurePro and they had it fixed and sent it back to me. Took about two months though, right in the beginning of last years season. I called Aeris to see what the delay was and they told me they had shipped it back to leisurepro a month before I got it... so sending it back directly to Aeris, in theory, should take about half the time.

Re: Aeris f10 dive watch screen problem

I ended up disassembling the watch, circuit board was toast. Ended in trash. A friend also had the same issue. I got a Cressi nepto now and very happy with it.
