Carmel Dive?

Hey it's pretty late notice but I'm looking to spear the Carmel/Pacific Grove/North Big Sur area this weekend before the South swell kicks in next week. I'm game for freediving between 20 to 50 feet. Message me if you're interested in this weekend or anytime really. I live in Santa Cruz.

Also, if you've dove the Carmel area in the last couple days and it was shite viz, a heads up would be appreciated.

Thanks! Seemed to quiet around here...

Dove the rivermouth with 18-25 foot viz. Water was freezing! Some chubby perch but that place is kinda bombed out fish-wise.

I'm out there often, but normally on weekdays to avoid the tourist traffic.

I mostly only dive Big Sur. Carmel is possible, but usually is over fished along with Monterey. Oh you may want to buy a 7mm top half of the suit. That water is chilly if your floating and breath up most of the time.

A bit late, but will be down in Monterey this weekend and might have a shot of getting out Sunday (9/17) morn. Haven't checked swell, but would bring gear if a possibility of getting out.
