fishlake, 8/30 3-8 foot in the afternoon, 8/31 10-15 in shallow deeper than 20ft 1-2, with strong winds and surge.

a little late but dove at echo a few weeks ago vis pretty good 8-10ft, lots of bass and got into a school of 100+ yellow perch(cool) no spearfishing game fish, shot 2 carp as well.
Anyone seen vis at deer creek lately(after labor day)? |

Has anyone been up to the gorge lately? Wife and i are going up to swim beach on thursday through saturday and just wanted to see if anyone had an update.

Deer Creek was 5' tops, but a pretty steady wind was churning things up. Couple smallies and carp in the weeds around 10 ft, but that's about it.

Dove the gorge on friday and viz was about 8-10 at jug hollow. saw several big carp and tons of crawfish, spent most of the afternoon chasing them.

Dove Causey today 10-2-11 viz 8-10 ft, best I've seen it there in years. When the sun was out it was incredibly clear.

Lake powell down lake from Hite. Vis was a hazy 5-6ft when windy, hazy 10-15 ft when calm. I will post a full report later.

Deer Creek on Nov 27th visibility near the Charleston bridge inlet was at about 3 feet. Down by the island, visibility was about 4-6 feet on the inside, and 10-12 feet on the lake side. At least when you see something you'll know it is in range...
Also, ice is starting to form along the very shallow outside edges of the lake, but there are only two more days of game fish hunting anyway so no big loss. |

Anyone know what vis at powell would be like beginning of April? Bullfrog shore or down by Lone Rock shore, no boat.
