Dove below Flaming Gorge dam Saturday. Was neat to see all those fat trout and was surprised at the size of the Suckers but did not see one carp. Did find some lures and fishing nets. The viz was good but I was expecting Willow Beach good below Hoover Dam but still fun.

Was at starvation 8/5-8/7. We camped at Knight Hollow. Visibility was about 5 feet in the early morning then went down as the day went on. On the way out around 2pm we stopped by the bridge. Visibility was about 5 feet as well.

Re: Utah Visibility Overview (please contribute!)

I drive past pelican everyday on the way to work, and just from the looks of it it is really murky right now. Plus the guys out at work have told me that the water is pretty much off limits once it gets warm as a lot of people get swimmers itch super bad.

Re: Utah Visibility Overview (please contribute!)

I was at deer creek on friday the 19th. Saw lots of smallmouth and a couple of 2-3 pound walleye. Vis was pretty rough at 3-5 ft. Shot a few bass for dinner and 4 carp. Found a pretty nice anchor and rope.

Re: Utah Visibility Overview (please contribute!)

Pineview has been pretty hazy this year, This week I've found better viz 5-6 ft than usual, but not seen many fish and ZERO carp. Anybody up north been to Causey or Lost Creek? Also I found a spear shaft in Pineview last time if somebody on here lost it...

Re: Utah Visibility Overview (please contribute!)

I did some diving in some of the Fairview lakes yesterday. Electric Lake had easily 15 foot viz and some cool tigers and cutts swimming about (not open to spearing). If anyone has information on the sunken town, that would make an excellent dive.
