300+ pounds in May.
Had 2 trips where I targeted lionfish in addition to our regular species. 200 plus fish with gutted weight of over 300 pounds.Best dive was about 50 pounds.Saw so many more than last year it was,surreal.

That's all I did while grouper season was closed. People bought Lion fish faster than anything else.

Yep,now I got competition. JAW and crew had 700+.I only target big ones and only when there's nothing else to kill handy.

I still can't believe you gut all those fish. But like you've said before, the higher price justifies it. Keep looking for a full 19 incher (greater than 477mm),,,that's the world record and many get very close to that size up there.

Damn was that in Jacksonville Florida? Typically they stay away from brackish water damn. We're you able to sell any of the meat? I hear they're getting quite a taste for it in the higher class restaurants. Such an untapped potential since there is literally an unlimited resource of it. Good work buddy!
