It's ridiculous right now. After a half day at the rock, was so tired I ended up at the reef at el morro, and finished up with amberjack and some real nice snapper!! Click image for larger version

Re: Heating up in Punt Mita

Damn! I was just north of there, in Sayulita, for a friends wedding. All I caught was the norovirus... along with about 40 other people at the wedding.

Nice work.

Is the shore diving good there, or do you need to go out a ways on a boat?

Damn, John, you got some dimensions on that wiggle stick? How’s it handle in the water?

It's 70 inches long, weighs 16 lbs, shoots a 3/8 x 74 inch Mori shaft and is ballasted perfectly. Ya, I know you are supposed to use a 3 band 130 to hunt but I feel a lil more secure out there when chasing fish out here on the west coast of Mexico. Saw a fish the other day which kept out of range that was well over 150 kilos! Only a matter of time!!! Click image for larger version

I love your gun! 130 is a kill gun. Just bought a 72” myself. It’s even beefier than your gun. I was more inquiring into if that unique track aids in handling and ergonomics.
