Blue Marine Spearfishing film 2002

Great movie in French about deep drop spearfishing. Dogtooth Tuna get bumped off as do Wahoo and other pelagic specimens. Mainly Riffe spearguns with breakaway rigs, flying saucer band elevator muzzle, three bands, but saw a reel on a gun that was snooping around a Grouper. In the Madagascar area and the surrounding islands. The patience of the divers awaiting the moment to let the spear fly is an instructive lesson on how not to rush the shot. All divers had great breath-hold times, seemed to be down for minutes at a time.

Interesting metal 2D foil fish lure seemed to work well with light reflecting off its sides as it rolled around in the water bringing curious fish in for generally shut down the lights shots, a few made a run for it and a few fish provided meals for the sharks, but the fish were so big there was quite an amount left over.

Great movie, the visual language of spearfishing is universal, so you will know what is going on.
