I live in Miami and recently started spearing, don't personally know many people who spear though. The drive isn't an issue either, PM me whenever you guys are planning to head out!

For now, I am more of a weekend warrior, maybe can arrange something with my work later on. I live here over a year but just yesterday I managed to get out to check out my new roller Pathos gun and give a kayak a spearfishing try.
Roller gun is a lot of work and a kayak needs to be propelled by the sail or a motor then my paddling against the current and wind... |

Hi all, I'm in the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood area. I'm taking a FII course and have ordered a speargun, so will be spearing soon, but only lobster hunting right now. My schedule is pretty open, including weekdays right now. Does anyone want to go out Wednesday or Thursday this week? The forecast looks good both of those days.

@jason, I tried to reply to your pm but it wouldn't let me, I'd be down but I got called in to go to work tomorrow morning and I won't be out until 5, I work on south beach so traffic will be serious, I'm off Thursday though, let me know what you're going to get into!
