Dude you double posted this. Here you called it a yellowtail and in the international section you called it a kingfish. You changed the name to what we call it in California but it's not the same at all. If every new Zealander wanted to make themselves a brand name in the ca section there'd be millions of better reports than yours and no room for actual california stories. That said it's awesome that you made it to NZ and I'm a wee bit jealous.

Nice fish. Congratulations. YT "turn off" if you hold your fingers in their eye sockets. They pretty much go limp. But watch out when you let go, unless you've brained them. Congratulations again. Nice fish!
