Re: Salvimar Intruder Pro?
I wouldnt go so far as to say ALL of their gear is amazing. I have 3 of their shafts and they are the biggest POS shafts I have ever seen. If it wasnt so much trouble, I would send them back to where they came.

Re: Salvimar Intruder Pro?
I dont have any first hand experience with the intruder, but i do have a voodoo pro and its a sweet gun. My only complaint is the wire fins breaking rather quickly. It looks like the intruders have notched shafts so my complaint wouldn't apply to them. But like the majority of the other posters have already stated, most salvimar products are great.

Re: Salvimar Intruder Pro?
What is the band thickness of the Intruder? I have seen 13mm in one place and 16mm in another. Not sure what is accurate.
In any case can the mech support 16mm bands? Can the notches hold dyneema or spectra wishbones? I am looking for a short, travel 50 or 60 reef gun that fits in my duffel. I have a pneumatic (Salvimar Predathor 65), but I heard pneumatics are not allowed in Mexico, where I was thinking of traveling to. Other option Cressi Sioux 50 (there is an Apache 45, but rather get a 50) thank you thanks stefano |
