Hey everyone... Im looking to upgrade from my gopro hero 3+. Its well past time. Im hoping that if I record in 4k, I can essentially crop stills and video down to 1080, and still have high def but appear a little closer.

In addition - I like the specs on the gopro 6 - but I dont have any need for a touch screen, gps, speedometer or anything else that comes with it. I want a simple camera that can record high quality video and little else.

Any recommendations for good action cameras out there that meet this description?
